About LEGISE

The Landscape Explorers Group in South East (LEGISE) is an independent metal detecting organisation, consisting of Kent based clubs (former Southern Region of the NCMD).

LEGISE’s mission is to use its very experienced officers to promote and protect the hobby and to encourage its members to carry out their hobby in a responsible manner in accordance with the “Code of Practice for Responsible Metal Detecting in England and Wales and to comply with the “Treasure Act” legislation.
